to make clay roofing more affordable and accessible. The New Generation 20/20
is now easier, faster and cheaper then ever thanks to a ground-breaking design
and major investment by Sandtoft
The new design takes interlocking clay tiles into a new era by significantly
improving the ease and speed of fit. The term 'open gauge' means that all of the
setting-out restrictions imposed by complicated interlocking bars have been eliminated
to allow complete freedom in setting the gauge - just like an interlocking concrete
tile. These design benefits have been achieved without any compromise in performance.
On the contrary, through wind tunnel testing that stimulates varying extreme conditions
of wind, driven rain, Sandtoft has harnessed the design flexibility of natural
clay to further improve the performance of the new 20/20.
The new 20/20 is manufactured in Sandtoft's industry leading new clay tile plant
which makes use of latest technology and enables Sandtoft to manufacture clay
tiles to new levels of quality and affordability.
